Building a classroom for grade 1 children in Zimbabwe

Current Classroom
This is the current classroom. It is small and in disrepair. It's becoming unsafe to hold classes here.
100% of your donation will go towards the construction of this classroom - there are not ANY admin or processing fees!
Grade 1 Children
The Children who will learn in their classroom live in small remote villages in rural Zimbabwe. Many are orphaned and all of them live in deep poverty. Getting an education is HIGHLY valued
Partner Charity
I work with a charity called HOPE WORKS www.hopeworks.charity
They are founded and run by a group of people that my dad grew up with in Zimbabwe, who now live in the UK. They have a deep desire to help. They have connections with people who visit villages and identify needs, and facilitate action.

I Care I Can, and YOU CAN TOO!
I Care I Can exists to care for people in Zimbabwe.
I'm Renee and I'm 14 years old. In December 2019 I went on a family trip to Zimbabwe and saw the need in the country and wanted to help. Since March 2020 I have been selling handmade greeting cards, sticky buns, masks and calendars. TOGETHER we have raised over $8000 to help others!! We have supplied over 200 food packs that provide a family of 4 with basic staples for 1 month! We have also changed lives by building TWO houses for families in need!

2023 Calendar
Look what we did in 2021!
We raised over $6500
We fed over 200 families for 30 days.
We built a house, purchased a bed, blankets, Christmas food packs and gifts for Kunashi and his dad.
We also build them a fence garden so they could grow their own food and be self sufficient.

We built a house, purchased a bed, blankets, Christmas food packs and gifts for Tanaka, Tatenda & Tuku.
These three precious children were recently orphaned and the local village has been caring for them.
We Finished Their House!
We raised $2800 to finish Tanaka (13) , Tatenda (6) and Tuku's (2) house.
Their old house was almost ready to fall over.
Leaky roof, no windows and a door that did not lock.
Tanaka said she never dreamed she'd get to live in a brick house!
